Shannon and Rebekah

Shannon and Rebekah make the perfect couple.  I have known Shannon for almost 10 years now, which I must admit seems a little surreal.  He is such an awesome, outspoken, and God loving christain that he inspires the people around him to want to be that way.  He is also quite the adventurer.  I have seen bangs, bruises, cracked ribs, and wounds that required many stitches as he crashed mountain bikes, motorcycles or flipped kayaks as he pursued a number of other thrill seeking adventures.  Oh, and I must mention that there are also documented photos of him hanging off of an ice cliff as he and his brother went ice climbing not too long ago.  I will also mention that when it came to dating and finding someone, he was a bit picky   I would always try to scout for him but never was able to find someone that really was “the one”.  When he told me about Rebekah, I knew she had to be an incredible person and of course- she is.  Not only is she wonderful all by herself, she seems to complete him in so many ways.  They chose to have a morning ceremony at a spot at Oak Mountain that suited them perfectly.  It was a gorgeous rock bluff  that required a little bit of walking to get to, but when I saw it,  it was so perfect for them.  Not only was I impressed with Rebekah’s stunning beauty on the day of the wedding, I was also impressed that she could hike and rock climb in a dress and heels!!  Their day was surrounded by many friends and family and lots of sweet emotion.  I am so happy for both of them and their family as they begin their lives together!  Here are a few of my favorites.

I was able to capture this photo as Rebekah made her way down the aisle. Shannon's expression was written all over his face and I think that hers is not only beautiful but evident as well.

"The kiss" is one of the things that I think is so sweet during a wedding ceremony. Theirs was no exception, but the hug afterward was so sweet that it brought tears to my eyes. They stood there holding each other for a while like they never wanted to let go.
