A few weeks ago, I attended and photographed some of the events surrounding the Style In The Sky Show at the Summit Club. The show started with an upbeat and modern runway show at the Redmont Hotel. So many awesome vendors really raised the bar and made the show top notch. The floral decor and design by Scot Wedgeworth, www.scotwedgeworth.com was incredible. I was asked to help photograph the runway show on Friday night. It was really awesome to see so many professionals in action. Heidi Elnora, www.heidielnora.com, added so much to the show with her very exquisite dress designs. Most of the photos posted below, are from the runway show and I am including one photo of my display from Sunday. All of the vendors on Sunday were also incredible. The weather wasn’t our friend that day but it still turned out to be a beautiful show. My display was located on the top floor of the Summit Club, in the Cahaba Room. I enjoyed meeting and talking with all of the other vendors who shared surrounding spaces. Ivory and White Boutique www.ivorywhiteboutique.com, Kelly Key from the Engaged Wedding Library in Homewood, Hot House Design Studio, Wow, there are just so many great professionals, I won’t list them all here but if you are looking for someone in a particular category, I would be happy to help put you in touch with them. Also, a HUGE THANK YOU also goes out to Jenny Chandler Springer who attended the event with me. Jenny is an awesome friend, person, and christain who happens to also be a wedding and event professional herself. She just returned from living in Los Angeles, where she planned and coordinated many weddings and events. She returns to Alabama with a lot of experience and so many inspiring ideas. If you are looking for a wedding or event planner, I am sure she would love to speak with you! Check out her site- www.idopremiereevents.com
Jenny was so much help and worked really hard helping me to set up and take down my display. Last, but not least, thank you so much to my wonderful husband!! He was such a sweetheart. He took off work to help me get everything ready and helped carry so many random things-including a couch, through service elevators and up stairs. I don’t know what I would have done without him. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat and to the wonderful brides planning their special day.
